Love Button Global Movement was founded in 2013 by Dr. Habib Sadeghi and Dr. Sherry Sami with a powerful belief: love is something we choose to practice through compassion, generosity, connection, and service to others. Love Button has grown into an international movement, bringing people together to create meaningful acts of kindness.

Our partnership with Dr. Sadeghi began when he first visited as a guest speaker. During his visit, he led students through interactive activities focused on the art of apologizing, conducting a perception check through active listening, using laughter to build connection, and practicing reflection and letting go through a five-minute free-writing exercise, after which students shredded their papers as a symbolic release. What began as a visit grew into a meaningful partnership rooted in a shared belief in the power of compassion, connection, and investing in the next generation.

Love Button Makes History at the FIFA World Cup Halftime Show

In July 2026, Love Button's message reached more than one billion viewers when the word LOVE appeared across the field during the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show. It was curated by Coldplay co-founder Chris Martin and brought together global music stars for a performance supporting children's education.

Through their generosity, creativity, personal involvement, and unwavering support, Dr. Sadeghi, Dr. Sami, Dr. Paige, and the entire Love Button community have helped create opportunities and lasting memories of connection for the young people we serve.

Two Years of Generous Support for Mondays at the Mission

For two consecutive years, Love Button Global Movement has sponsored Mondays at the Mission with a gift of $5,000 each year, providing a total of $10,000 in direct financial support.

Their first donation helped make possible the creation of a brand new Dream Classroom on the fifth floor of the shelter, giving our students a dedicated space to learn, feel safe and inspired, and imagine new possibilities for their futures.

Their second donation funded our first two scholarships, awarded to Maria (18) and Leah (21), creating meaningful opportunities for two young women both now in college, to pursue their goals and take important steps toward building brighter futures.

We are sincerely thankful for their trust in our mission and for choosing to invest in the futures of the young people we serve.

Opening Doors Through Extraordinary Guest Speakers

Through Dr. Habib Sadeghi's generosity, Mondays at the Mission has welcomed extraordinary guest speakers, including Gustavo Dudamel, Machine Gun Kelly, and Ben Hong, cellist with the LA Philharmonic, alongside talented artists, dedicated volunteers, and enthusiastic Love Button team members. Each has brought something unique to our Dream Classroom, whether through sharing their talents, inspiring our students, lending a helping hand, or simply showing up with an open heart.

Bringing extraordinary individuals into the Dream Classroom allows our students to encounter different paths through life, hear personal stories, ask questions, and discover possibilities they may never have considered. These experiences send a powerful message: their circumstances do not define the limits of their ambitions, and their own stories are still being written.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Sadeghi for sharing his connections with our students. His willingness to open doors is a meaningful example of how people can use their influence to make a difference in the lives of others.

Coldplay & Ukuleles: A Rooftop Celebration of Music and Love

One of the most memorable experiences Love Button helped bring to our students was a summer rooftop gathering filled with music, laughter, and the joy of learning something new. Through their connection to Coldplay, the event allowed each student the opportunity to learn to play the ukulele, discovering the excitement of making music with their own hands, and that the world is full of things they have yet to discover.

Baskets of Gratitude: Two Years of Showing Up for Others

For the past two years, Love Button Global Movement has helped bring the spirit of its Baskets of Gratitude initiative to Mondays at the Mission. Dozens of volunteers have come together to fill care packages and bags with thoughtful essentials, transforming a collective act of service into something tangible for people who need support.

It is beautiful watching so many people give their time and energy to help someone they may never meet. Every bag represents a choice to care, a reminder that someone matters, and a small act of kindness that can make a difficult day a little easier.

Volunteers Who Helped Make Our 600th Monday Special

When Mondays at the Mission celebrated its 600th class, it marked a milestone made possible by years of dedication from volunteers, mentors, speakers, and supporters who believe in the potential of our young people.

Love Button was there to help make the celebration special. Their volunteers contributed their time, energy, and enthusiasm to an occasion that honored the programs growth.

A Partnership That Shows What Love Can Make Possible

Love Button embodies something we hope our students carry with them long after they leave the Dream Classroom: that compassion is a strength, that generosity can take many forms, and that each of us has the power to make another person's life better.

To Dr. Habib Sadeghi, Dr. Sherry Sami, Dr. Paige, and everyone at Love Button Global Movement, thank you for believing in our young people, for believing in Mondays at the Mission, and for consistently showing us what it means to put love into action.

Your partnership is a gift to our program and to the young people whose lives you have helped touch. We are honored to be part of your mission, and we are profoundly grateful to walk alongside you.
