Meet The Team

Justine has volunteered with Mondays at the Mission since June 2013, helping shape the curriculum, partnerships, and speaker series. She is a filmmaker and graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, currently making a techno-optimist feature film about AI and the future. She loves Argentine tango, chess, and cinema.

Over the years, we have often wondered where life has taken the hundreds of students who have passed through Mondays at the Mission, and what they have gone on to create. If you are a former student, we would all love to hear from you and learn where your journey has taken you!​​

Nadeem is a recent graduate from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in neuroscience. He started volunteering with
Mondays at the Mission in 2023 through a USC internship program.

In his free time, he works on clinical research in the emergency department at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He also enjoys watching basketball and soccer, weightlifting, and listening to music. He hopes to eventually enter medical school and become a licensed physician in the future.

Alexis is a Los Angeles native who looks forward to Mondays at the Mission each week and is extremely grateful for the opportunity to connect with the children and families of URM.

Outside of volunteering, Alexis is a stand-up comedian and the owner of Tomboy, a female-focused razor company. She loves bringing humor and creativity to the group!
